I’m dedicating this week’s DJF Playlist track to everyone who ran the Brooklyn Half. I can’t think of a better way to start a sunny weekend. Love this song and its playing on my Pandora NOW:-) It’s informative, speaking about the origins of house (“In 1987, the rhythm was born”), and it’s got a sexy beat and great Energy. It’s produced by Dave Spoon, but I first heard it on Eric Morillo’s ‘Subliminal Sessions 9’. I’ve seen Eric Morillo play in Ibiza… Four words: Out of this world:-)
