It goes without saying, but to achieve optimum fitness, you have to include a thorough nutrition plan. To help you with this, I’m going to be publishing regular recipes on the blog. First up, direct from DJK, it’s protein snack recipes with an HK flavor.


If you’re tired of the same boring post-workout shakes, feel the Big City Energy that these protein-packed beauties will bring to your day. Perfect if you’re after a lean, active and sexy body.


DJF Lean Body Protein Shake
2 scoops Whey(any flavor you prefer)
2 cups water


– Mix together and enjoy to get those rock hard abs.



Whey... You can't underestimate its potential when it comes to bulking up. Get to grips with the different varieties here.

ManhattanMuscle Energy Protein Bars
8 Scoops Whey (any flavor you prefer)
3 Cups Oats/whole grain
1 Package Sugar Free Fat Free Pudding
2 Cups Skim Milk


– Mix in a bowl and then spread evenly across a pan.
– Put in the refrigerator and cut evenly into 8 bars.

    These are great – I substituted unsweetened almond milk for the skim milk – lowers the sugar/carbohydtrate count a bit!
