DJF Kitchen #2: Sweeten up!!
I’ve put together some sweet treats for my second instalment of DJF Kitchen. Whether it’s Jello, parfait or peanut butter that gets your taste buds going, I’ve got you catered for. All with a nod to my time in China!!
DJF Protein Jell-O:1 scoop (fruit flavored)protein powder1 package sugar free jell-o powderMake jell-o , mix in one scoop fruit flavored protein powder, and place into the fridge.
Delicious after a tough run on the Kowloon Promenade or just a Sunday treat.Protein Powered Parfait:2 cups mixed chopped berries2 cups of sugar free yogurt or pudding1 scoop protein powderMix protein powder in with yogurt or pudding. Layer fruit and pudding/yogurt in a tall glass. Top with fat free cool whip.Enjoy on a relaxed HK day.
Protein Powered Peanut Butter Balls:3/4 cup peanut butter1/2 cup of raw whole oats1/4 cup honey1 1/2 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powderMix all ingredients, form small 1″ balls, put in the fridge, and prepare for heaven.
